Join us for an evening at Kin featuring a guided tour of the exhibition: The Use of Photography: Borg Mesch and Hans-Olof Utsi. The exhibition features around sixty photographs taken by photographer Borg Mesch, depicting Kiruna’s early decades, the construction of the railway to the Atlantic coast, the magnificent landscape of the north, and the indigenous Sami people.

Kiruna-based photographer Hans-Olof Utsi has documented how Mesch’s images are used throughout the city: we encounter them on the facade of the public bathhouse, in hotel lobbies, and at senior living facilities, among other places.

After the tour, enjoy refreshments and the opportunity to create portraits together with Kin’s art educators in the Art Workshop. A chance to meet other like-minded people and come together through art and culture! No prior knowledge required—just a fun activity to enjoy with new friends. The activity is free.
