The Earth We Inherited: Group Exhibition

Group exhibition with d harding, Amol Patil, Anca Benera/Arnold Estefan, Mariana Castillo Deball, Elena Edreva, Joe Nami, Rehaf Al Batniji, Lena Kriström, and Tanya Busse.

The theme of this group exhibition is humanity’s relationship with the earth and all life on it. The artists bring with them a wide range of experiences and interests, including the use of earth pigments from Australia for contemporary painting and used metal from Mumbai’s untouchable population, myths, and the militarisation of agricultural land, plant dyeing of yarns in the name of contemporary art, photographs of life on the beaches of Gaza before the war broke out, and visions of the future in mining environments. It is part of Kin’s multi-year thematic thread The Critical Zone.
